Caring Family Party from Office of the Chaplain, Accompany the Freshman Growing Up

"Caring Family Programe" is a one-year plan arranged by Office of the Chaplain. Welcome Freshman Party is held in the first semester of each acdemic year. School faculty and staff are invited to be caring family parents and take care of freshmen. Students Fellowship members play an important role to show their active life to freshmen. They very warmly welcome freshmen to join the fellowship from Monday to Friday as well.
The party was started at game warm up then the introduction of freshmen. Due to the pandemic prevention, lunch was provided in the end of party, let all participaiants take them back. There are 42 persons participated this party including 14 caring family parents. And it's really happy to meet 21 freshmen coming to this party. Student Fellowship play a funny game with everyone and also sing a happy song to exchange greetings each other. Such a fun time to be with freshmen together. addtionaly In addition, prof. Chen, Qing-Hui, the president of faculty and staff fellowship, she encouraged freshmen students to keep good connection with caring family parents. And then all participants are divided to serveral groups to knowing each other and building relationship.
The freshmen has been affected by the pandemic situation from the online to physical meeting. They has become much familiar with the environment in CJCU. Rev. Cheng pary for the freshmen, May the Lord bless this "Caring Family Programme" can be the way to accompany freshmen growing up, helping them to build relationship around their living circle, and helping them to improve their study.
