2023 Student Adulthood Service—Four Principles of Life

The Office ot the Chaplain of CJCU held the 2023 Student Adulthood Service-Four Principle of Life on May 15, with 70 teachers and students participating. The worship team brought a wonderful prelude to worship. Rev. Ming-chih Cheng encouraged everyone with the four principles of life - Say Thanks, Say Love, Say Sorry, and Say Farewell. They should learn these four lessons and practice them with actions. Dr. Jen-Chun Hwang, the Chairman of Board of CJCU, reminded everyone not only to achieve physical growth (body growth), but also to achieve mental growth (spiritual growth), and to pay attention to upholding a good attitude in doing things; the presidentl Yung-lung Lee encouraged everyone to practice the principle of thanking Homework, said that CJCU is going to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, and I would like to thank Jen-Chun Hwang, who is also the founder and chairman of CJCU, for having the foresight to start planning for the school 38 years ago. The prresident also encouraged students that "Tao" is also a road, and hoped that students would use "Tao" as a verb to embark on a beautiful life path.

This year, the epidemic is no longer restricted, so the Student Adulthood Service could do physical gatheing. The students walked the red carpet, crossed the gate representing wisdom and courage, and then accepted the crowning from the teachers who stood in front of the stage, and wrote "For the future me" card, for their own The future brings dreams and expectations; students also reaffirmed their responsibilities and obligations for self-growth when they took the oath.
During the service, honorary awards were awarded to students who actively participated in eco-related activities (Earth Day and Tracing our Roots by Bike) and the Mt. Lulin and Mt. Linzhi Trail Hiking, Mountains to Sea National Greenway trip. At the same time, it also encouraged students to continue to challenge and experience different Mountains to Sea National Greenway journeys in the future. We encourage all participated in this Service to make a Growing Diary to record their growth process and make it a good memory; after the evaluation, the top three and several excellent students received awards. Finally, the pastors prayed for individual blessings for students, hoping that they all have a bright future. Through the baptism of the Adulthood Sercie, hope students can sencerely enter into a new stage of life with a mature attitude, wisdom and courage.
