2023 Tribal Children's Education Camp - "Love Catch You" catches everyone with love.

Every summer, the Chaplain Office of Chang Jung University leads a group of volunteers to hold a camp in remote tribal villages. The Tribal Education Camp for the summer of 2023 took place from July 3rd to July 9th at the  Yaidawong  Church in Sandimen, Pingtung. There were a total of 16 volunteers participating in the camp, including members of the student fellowship and other helpful volunteers, all working together to organize this event.

The theme of this year's camp was "Love Catch You" (I Catch You), with the aim of teaching the participants that no matter the circumstances, God will catch us and be our help, and He will also send angels in the form of people around us to assist us. Therefore, even in the face of difficulties, we should not lose heart.

The camp consisted of four different workshops. These included an "English Learning" workshop to enhance the participants' international perspective, a "Baking Workshop" to convey knowledge about healthy eating, a "Life Education" workshop to teach the participants gratitude, love, and apology, and a "Mental Health Education" workshop to deliver positive messages to the participants. These four workshops provided children with fruitful learning and experiences at the beginning of their summer vacation. The volunteer team, through their interactions with the participants, also gained insights into the path of learning through teaching, enhancing their own leadership and adaptability in dealing with unforeseen situations.

Before the end of the camp, there was an achievement exhibition. The dynamic songs and dances created an atmosphere of enthusiasm for each participant, while the static exhibition allowed them to appreciate the teaching outcomes of the camp. There was also a charity sale of homemade cookies, with all proceeds donated to the church's Children's Sunday School, aiming to bring help to children's educational ministry. This camp was a complete success, and both the participants and volunteers benefited greatly from it.

The Tribal Education Camp for the summer of 2023 was held at the Yaidawong Church in Sandimen, Pingtung.
