[Reported By the Office of the Chaplain]
It’s Christmas season coming again! The Office of the Chaplain of CJCU holds a series of activities to deliver beautiful messages and love to everyone. Starting from December, the Office of the Chaplain and Student Fellowships have successively held various Christmas Caroling activities on and off campus, creating a warm atmosphere on campus and in the community!
On December 18th, an United Christmas event organized by the student fellowship "Firefly Fellowship" was held at CJCU Hall. The Canaan Fellowship of CNU was also invited to participate on the day. The students made their own Christmas gift "Drinking Bag" that night. , and wrote words of blessing, and carried cookies and candies to do Christmas Caroling on campus. They went to the dormitories, stadiums, and cafeteria. This gift of love was given to the faculty and students on campus, and delivered the good news of Christmas season with love and hope to them.
December 19th is the "Christmas Caroling on Train Stations and Neighbor Community". Every year, the Office of the Chaplain takes this opportunity to go to the high-speed rail station and those train stations nearby school to do the Christmas Caroling. This year, teachers and students formed a team to do the Christmas Caroling. In addition, we also visited business stores in nearby communities. We went to Tatan Police Station to bless the hard-working police officers, including the school security guards, through singing and gift to bless everyone. The Handbell troupe used hand-chimes, keyboards, guitars, cajons and violinists from the violin club to coordinate with the student fellowship. With beautiful music and melodious singing, two Santa Clauses dressed up distributed candies and spread love and blessings to everyone, wishing them a Merry Christmas, peace and joy.
On the afternoon of December 22, the Office of the Chaplain took some students to the Lehe Rehabilitation Home attached to Jianan Psychiatric Center to hold a Christmas cheer. Students lead the singing and share stories to tell everyone that happiness is a mood that can be chosen. We hope everyone can learn to store happiness in daily life, and plant seeds of happiness and hope like plants, in order to produce a happy and hopeful life. The activity also used pastel paintings to allow residents to draw trees of hope. During the activity, students and residents had a very good interaction. In the end, we wishes everyone a Merry Christmas ,haelthy and happy with songs "The Most Beautiful Gift" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"!
