2023 Christmas Carols Service: Feeling the warmth and joy of the holiday

The 2023 Christmas Carols service was held at CJCU Hall on December 21st at 17:30. This year, the service specially invited the director of the Bunun Tribe Farm, Rev. Bai Guangsheng, and his wife, Rev. Li Lixin, to participate in the message-sharing part of the service. Rev. Bai is a model figure of the school. This time, the theme of the information is "The Impact of Jesus' Birth on the World." Throughout the history of the Christian church, it is explained that the good news of salvation brought by the birth of Jesus has spread all over the world and influenced many countries. The history of the development of the church in Taiwan is also the result of the sacrifice and dedication of many missionaries.
Chang Jung Christian University held this service to celebrate the coming of Christmas with the faculty and students on the eve of Christmas.
The service was interspersed with prayers, hymns, scriptures, and handbell music. In particular, the three new steel sculptures about the life of Jesus that were placed near the first teaching building were introduced. The works were designed by students and produced by Zhi-Gang Company, which is run by General Manager Guo Zhi-hua. The lighting effects make the sculptures even more beautiful and unique. Chairman Hwang Jen-Chun and President Li Yung-Lung sincerely thanked General Manager Guo Zhi-hua. They specially presented a certificate of appreciation and made a brief speech.
Finally, the student fellowship sang the two songs "Silent Night" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" in English and Chinese alternately. This allowed Taiwanese students and international students to interact with each other. They prayed that Chang Jung Christian University would uphold its original intention of running schools with Christian spirit and continue to cultivate students with all their hearts in the face of the difficult tests of the times.
