2018/12/19 Christmas Carols Service

Christmas Carols service was held in the International Conference Hall on 2018/12/19 5:30 PM. At the beginning, members of the English Bible study group led by Rev. Chang-Wan Ku started  the service by singing an English Christmas song "God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen". 

This year, in particular, in the way of scripture, with many Christmas hymns, we hope that through the correspondence between scripture and Christmas hymns, the participating teachers and students could understand the meaning of Christmas and the story of the birth of Jesus. In the section of the scriptures, some representative colleagues of the Faculty and Staff Fellowship and the representative of the Student Fellowship were invited to lead the passages of the scriptures. The congregation responded to each other. In the music part, it was a huge lineup. This year, a special Brass Ensemble led by Chin-Ming Lin teacher was invited to perform, and there was a union choir led by Director S. Jessica Hao, which made the whole service full of beautiful music and voice.

In the song "Silent Night", everyone was invited to convey the blessings of peace and love by passing the candle, and the Chairman of the Board Prof. Szu-Hai Yang lighted up the main Christmas candle. Finally, Vice President Rev. Bo-Ho Huang was invited to do the benediction for all of us. After the Brass Ensemble played a warm and happy Christmas music, everyone said Merry Christmas and peace to be with you to each other. The Christmas Carols Service ended successfully.
