Chang Jung Christian University Overseas Doctoral Student Scholarship Setting and Application Tips

Article 1: To encourage outstanding overseas students to apply for doctoral degree programs at our school and complete their degrees at our school, and to assist them in their first visit to our school.

           In order to help students settle down in Taiwan and further promote the internationalization of our school, this point is specially set up.

 

Article 2: The foreign students referred to in these points shall be foreign students and overseas students who meet the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education on the identification of foreign students.

         (Students from Hong Kong and Macao are regarded as overseas students, excluding mainland students).

 

Article 3 Basic application qualifications and review conditions:

                  1. New Students:

                  (1) Basic application qualifications: Applicants who meet the requirements of overseas students of the University and are admitted through various admission channels of the University, excluding transfer students. Britain

                        Applicants from English-speaking countries are not subject to this restriction.

                  (II) Audit conditions:

                       1. The work and service experience is consistent with the development value of the school.

                       2. Be a faculty member or member of an allied unit.

                       3. He has held important administrative positions in allied units.

                       4. Other potentials that can help the development of the school.

                    2. Students in school:

                   1. Basic application qualifications: Having completed one semester of study at our school. The conduct score in the previous semester is above 80 points and no punishment has been received

                         Place. Apply for on-campus residence permit in Taiwan for the current semester.

                   (II) Audit conditions:

                      1. Academic performance and grades in the previous semester: The Dean of the School of Management, the Executive Director of the Doctoral Program in Business Administration, and the Supervisor

                         Grant for review and approval.

                      2. Service performance in the previous semester: Service status is registered and verified by the department to which it belongs. Service content includes assistance in various international exchanges.

                         Activities related to the development of the school.

                      3. For those who have received any scholarship or grant from their own government, the school may subsidize the difference.

 

Article 4 The contents and review principles of the scholarship are as follows:

                      1. New students: Based on the review results, a subsidy of NT$20,000 to NT$40,000 will be provided for the first semester, which will be fully deducted from tuition and miscellaneous expenses.

                      2. Among students

                            (1) Based on the review results, a subsidy of NT$20,000 to NT$40,000 per semester will be provided to fully offset tuition and miscellaneous fees.

                            (2) The maximum award period is five semesters.

                      3. Applications should be submitted to the International Affairs Office, which will organize a review committee.

                             The dean of the relevant college or department director shall be an ex officio member and shall review the information submitted by the student in accordance with these points.

                             The examination and issuance of scholarships shall be based on these points as the principle.

                      4. This scholarship is approved once every semester and should be applied for and reviewed semester by semester.

 

Article 5 Application method, application period and attached documents:

                          1. New Students

                                 (1) Apply after receiving the admission notice.

                                (ii) When applying, you should attach the notification form, application form, English language proficiency certificate, and relevant documents that meet the review requirements.

                                     Related supporting documents.

                          2. Among students

                                (1) Application should be submitted three weeks before the start of each semester.

                                (2) When applying, you should attach an application form, a transcript and academic performance verification form, and a service performance verification form.

Article 6 The number of students receiving financial aid each academic year shall be adjusted flexibly based on the school’s budget.

 

Article 7 If a recipient withdraws from school, the full amount of the scholarship received will be recovered.

 

Article 8 If it is verified that a student receiving financial aid has forged or provided false information, in addition to revoking his/her financial aid qualification, he/she will be dealt with in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

 

Article 9 These guidelines shall be implemented after being approved by the Scholarship and Work-Study Grant Review Committee and announced by the president. The same applies to amendments.
