Important Notice for foreign students work in Taiwan
Based on Article 50 of the Taiwan “Employment Service Act”:
The scope of jobs as limited in Paragraph 1 of Article 46 does not apply to the following categories of students to be employed to engage in work in Taiwan; with the exception of the winter and summer vacations, the foreign student's sum of working hours shall not exceed 20 hours per week.
If you were found guilty of illegal work without a valid work permit will be fined from NT $30,000 to NT$150,000 (US$1,000~5,000), and may result in deportation.
All the IPSD students are required to sign a "Declaration of Understanding" which will be offered from your advisors during the class meeting.
