Language Proficiency Requirements

The certificates of language proficiency are as follows:

• Programs Conducted in Chinese

(1) An applicant should achieve the TOCFL Level A2 or above.

For example:

• Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL): Band A Level 2
• Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK): Level 4

(2) Applicants who are native speakers of the Chinese language or graduated from a school where Chinese is the language of instruction(e.g. Graduation certificate of Malaysia Chinese independent high school) or the major in college used to be Chinese.

• Programs Conducted in English

(1) Applicants are not-native speakers of the English language, who should provide English tests certificate at least CEFR B1 or above.

(2) Applicants who are native speakers of the English language or graduated from a school where English is the language of instruction.
