Due to the highly developed but polluting human society, the world's ecological environment is facing a crisis of survival caused by extreme climate change. The United Nations has proposed 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the ecological crisis that coexists between humans and nature, urging governments and their people to strive for their implementation to achieve ecological sustainability.

In the face of the challenge of sustainable ecological development, Chang Jung Christian University should become a partner university of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals,https://sdgs.un.org/goals committed to building a campus that embraces ecological coexistence and sustainable development, providing students with the opportunity to learn about ecological sustainability issues and responsibilities, embodying love and justice expanding from a human-centered perspective to the natural ecological environment, and fulfilling the significance of a sustainable campus.
