Program History
Food safety has close relation with domestic health. The wrongdoing of some food business has raised social doubt on the food health and safety. Relying only on governmental effort to food laboratory tasks is not enough to cope current issue. Extra resources are necessary to control the food safety.
The domestic professionals in the food laboratory most comes from related disciplines and business. They were not trained as a test professional of food safety from beginning as demanded by the society. As stimulating by a variety of food safety issues, we decided to establish the bachelor program of food and environmental test, in order to foster the required test and analysis professionals. This program was permitted to be prepared and established by Ministry of Education in 2014. The enrollment began from 2015. The students finished this program will obtain a bachelor degree after graduation.
Objectivity
This objectivity of this program is to breed the professionals who acquire the current knowledge with capabilities of independent thinking and research. In order to promote the competition capability of the students in his or her career, the program emphasizes both on basic professional knowledge and practice. We hope they can provide professional consult and service in the future.

- Developing test and analytic techniques which can be applied to the tests of foods, pharmacies and occupational samples.
- Establish the laboratories that meets the quality system and test skills requied by international codes, achieving the cooperation between academics and industries, creating the opportunities of the careers.
