Service Assistantship
(Not a guaranteed grant, subject to be adjusted according to the school's annual budget)
We believe students from all economic backgrounds should have access to higher educational opportunities. This assistantship is intended to help IPSD students with their living expenses, under the condition that their average grades pass a minimum of 60 points. Students from countries on the United Nation’s list of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) can have an opportunity to apply for the Service Assistantship. Other students not from the LDCs need to prepare a low-income household statement issued by the government of the origin country, proof of disability (National Disabled Identification Card), or other proof of financial hardship. Duties vary depending on administrative needs. The stipend rate is a maximum of 4500 NTD (around 150 USD) per month, roughly equivalent to the minimum monthly cost of food in Tainan City.
