Department characteristics

The development of this department focuses on localization, emphasizing equal emphasis on theory and practice, and cultivating management professionals with the characteristics of "industrial care, high-quality service, and ethical cultivation" for the tourism and catering industry.

There are two development directions for this department, namely the "tourism group" and the "catering technology group".The department cultivates management talents in the tourism and catering industry, and enhances the accumulation of students' professional subject knowledge and practical experience. The compulsory courses focus on tourism and catering management and language courses. The professional courses are divided into two major areas: tourism and catering. There are two professional practical classrooms for cooking and drinking, and two softwares for the itinerary planning system and the airline ticketing system. Software and hardware facilities counseling industry licenses to strengthen students' competitiveness in the workplace. In addition, the department spares no effort to promote international mobility, including: dual education degrees, international exchange students, overseas internships, etc.。


Department Overview

There are two classes for each class of students in this department. The faculty of the department is strong, including three associate professors and six assistant professors. The teachers specialize in tourism and catering.

In terms of equipment, the department has professional facilities such as "Culinary Arts Entrepreneurship School", "Drinking School", and "Campus Mobile Guide".

  • "Culinary Creation Academy": 13 types of multifunctional teaching kitchen counters, 13 professional Western food baking teaching kitchen counters, six 32-inch hanging professional teaching screens, 12 sets of professional French bread steaming ovens, front and rear fermentation boxes, and professional refrigeration Freezer refrigerator.     "Beverage School": 5 professional semi-automatic commercial coffee machines, 2 commercial professional bean roasters.
    "Campus Mobile Guided Tour": The entire campus is our tour area, with eight beautiful views of the campus
